Gloria Logan is the owner and trainer of Perfect Puppy, LLC Dog Training. She has been showing and training dogs for most of her life.

"I have two Standard Schnauzers, both have Titles in the AKC Obedience. I always demonstrate the techniques using my dogs. This will give you a clear picture of what the exercise will look like. For each exercise taught you will see the finished product demonstrated by one of my dogs."

"I am teaching my students to co-exist and have fun with their dogs without giving up."

"Teaching students to understand the behavior of their dogs and showing them how to give the basic commands that will be used in everyday situations will make for a wonderful and trustworthy companion."

"The commands I teach are useful for building a positive relationship between owners and their dogs. I will explain in detail the commands, techniques, and methods owners should use to get the best response from their dogs. Students will use the commands and know how to apply them in every day principles."

My Goals:

  • Keep dogs out of shelters
  • Teach dogs good manners and basic commands
  • Be a good companion that is well trained and easy to live with
  • Give your dog direction and purpose

While training, owners develop a bond of trust and love with their dog that will last a lifetime. This can be achieved through obedience training. My classes are full of enthusiasm, energy, and a lot of fun. My training methods are both humane and effective. Learning methods are both effective and fun. Verbal reward (Praise), done in a positive tone of voice, is the primary reinforcement. Food reward is also used to help encourage your dog.

I help owners to understand puppy behavior, learn how to manage the puppy with out becoming frustrated.

I share my knowledge and experience understanding the behavior of the dogs. I tell my students to have patience, love, understanding and have fun.

No dog is to old, I have older dogs come to class who have never had training. They love to come to class and learn very fast. Yes you really can teach an old dog new tricks. Hand outs are given out after each class this will help students to practice between sessions.

Training never stops, your dog is a life long commitment and so is training. You will be using the commands you learned in class everyday. I enjoy people who love their dogs and want to learn. I listen to my students and help them achieve the relationship and bond they want with their dogs.
